Enabling creators, communities, and markets to drive a more open, interconnected, and consumer-empowered world.
Built from the ground up, NEAR is a “community-operated cloud”. It makes it easy for developers to build decentralized applications, onboard users seamlessly, and scale applications.
More specifically, NEAR is a decentralized development platform where developers can host serverless applications and smart contracts that easily connect to “open finance” networks, such as Ethereum, and benefit from an ecosystem of “open web” components.
01 How do I stake NEAR with Foundry?
NEAR has an open delegation model. This means that anyone who holds NEAR in a staking-enabled wallet can delegate their tokens to Foundry’s NEAR validator in a permissionless and anonymous fashion.
If you have questions about NEAR staking, need assistance and/or already hold NEAR with a custody provider, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We’ll help guide you through the process!
02 What is Aurora?
Aurora is a tool that makes NEAR EVM-compatible. In other words, it makes it easy for developers to operate Ethereum applications within the NEAR ecosystem and vice versa. Notable projects collaborating with Aurora include, 1inch, Band Protocol, and Chainlink.
03 Is there a minimum required to stake NEAR?
Delegators can stake any amount of NEAR tokens against Foundry’s public validator.
