Kevin Russel
Director of Mining Operations, Foundry
Kevin manages Mining Operations for Foundry and is responsible for maintaining uptime of our miner fleet. Through analysis of performance metrics, electrical capacity maximization, process development, and implementation of miner management software, we strive for peak efficiency. Previous technical roles in the renewable energy industry provide a solid foundation for his work in the crypto space.
Michael VanSickle
Lead Data Center Engineer, Foundry
Michael joined Foundry as Lead Data Center Engineer and helps to manage their hosted and self-mining initiatives. He is also responsible for Research and Development and testing prototype equipment. Prior to joining Foundry he worked for a vertically integrated Bitcoin miner where he assisted with launching and optimizing their mining operations.
Joel Shoemaker
Mining Technician, Foundry
Joel is an experienced Mining Technician currently working with Foundry. He is responsible for the maintenance and performance of all mining equipment on a day-to-day basis. Prior to his work with Foundry, Joel worked for four years at SavageIO, a small miner hosting facility in Rochester, New York, where he assisted with the build-out and management of three separate mining facilities.
Stephanie A. Learn
Associate Director of Career Services, SUNY Brockport
Stephanie A. Learn is an accomplished, visionary leader in the academic sector with 15+ years of operational, planning, and program development experience. Stephanie has experience working across multiple areas supporting student success in higher education including Program Design, Career Development, Advising & Retention, Orientation, and Residence Life. She has spearheaded programs and initiatives that have helped foster career education and the world of work best practices for students, alumni, and employers. She is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, Clifton Strengths, The Big Five, and Mental Health First Aid.
Steve Kozak
Thermal and Electrical Engineer, Foundry
Steve joined Foundry as a Thermal and Electrical Engineer, taking on a range of responsibilities that encompass the design, development, and testing of more efficient mining systems. Prior to joining Foundry, he gained valuable experience in the automotive and aerospace sectors, where he successfully oversaw the transformation of vehicle and jet engine assemblies from conceptualization to realization.
Alex Calviera
Electronics Technician, Foundry
As an Electronics Technician, Alex is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hashboards and miners, policy and procedure creation, and training. Before Foundry, Alex was an Expert Solder Repair Operator at Creation Technologies, a global electronics manufacturing company that provides contract manufacturing in the defense, medical, industrial, and astronautical sectors. His extensive experience with technical equipment, such as medical devices, aerospace, and military equipment, set him up for success in the crypto space.
